The volunteer leaders of the 2008 Legacy Circle fund drive were confirmed during a kickoff dinner on April 24th at On Broadway with Two Guys. Team Owners will be busy recruiting volunteer fundraisers who will gather pledges during the 2008 fund drive, held between August 21st and October 2nd.

Legacy Circle of Emanuel, the hospital's annual giving program, is based on the "team concept" of fundraising. Teams are formed from community members as well as from Emanuel Medical Center employees.

The 2008 fund drive efforts will go toward the Emanuel Cancer Endowment. This is the second year of a three year campaign to build a $4 million permanent fund to support cancer services for our community for generations.
