When Emanuel Medical Center began providing cancer services in our community in 2007, our commitment was to do more than just provide treatment locally.
Rather, our focus was establishing top-quality cancer services - treatment as good or better than any available anywhere. Our feeling then and now was that our friends, family and neighbors in this community deserve the very best treatment possible.
They deserve care without compromise.
Making sure we deliver that quality care guided every aspect of our planning and progress. It linked Emanuel with Stanford Hospitals & Clinics and the Stanford University School of Medicine, and to the opening of one of the most advanced radiation therapy centers on the West Coast. It guided the design and building of the state-of-the-art Emanuel Medical Plaza, and to upgrades, improvements and renovations throughout the hospital itself.
And it led to the establishment of the Emanuel Cancer Endowment.
Over three years, Legacy Circle donors - community members just like you - are building a permanent $4 million fund to generate hundreds of thousands of dollars a year for local cancer services. The Emanuel Cancer Endowment will help provide great treatment for cancer patients and their families for future generations.
